Simon Evans

Simon Evans, born Simone Evangelista in Rimini in 2004, is a young singer-songwriter who showed musical talent from an early age. He began singing at just two years old and learned to play guitar, piano, flute, bass, and drums by the age of three. After eight years of classical training at the conservatory, he shifted his focus to an independent music career.

As a teenager, Simon performed as a street musician in the streets and squares of Rimini and Riccione, accompanying himself with guitar and a loop station and building his first live-audience experiences with both covers (notably of The Beatles, Ed Sheeran, and Billie Eilish) and original songs in English.

In 2023, he met fellow Rimini-born singer Lisa Campana (stage name Lisa Bell) through social media. They met in person on New Year's Eve, became a couple in life and on stage, and soon decided to broaden their artistic horizons by moving to Dublin, a city renowned for its vibrant street-music culture.

Today, Simon and Lisa live together in Dublin while still cherishing their Rimini roots. Simon's love for The Beatles shines through his melodies and arrangements, while modern artists like Ed Sheeran and Billie Eilish inform his intimate, emotional songwriting. Writing and singing exclusively in English, Simon explores themes of insecurity, loneliness, the search for one's place in the world, and the struggle against sadness.

Beyond his performance career, Simon has developed extensive expertise in music production, running his own recording studio where he produces, mixes, and masters tracks for both his own projects and other emerging artists. This technical proficiency, combined with his multi-instrumental abilities and emotional depth, makes him a versatile artist capable of delivering both intimate acoustic sets and fully-produced musical experiences.
